An afternoon of board games and, at night, music with Grupo Calle3.
Velhoco is a neighbourhood of Santa Cruz de La Palma, on the way up towards the mountain, and its fiestas in honour of San Vicente Ferrer and Nuestra Señora del Pino run from 24 August to 6 September. It is a long fortnight, put together by the fiesta committee with the town hall and the parish, and helped along by neighbours and local businesses.
Through the whole week the Plaza El Kiosco Julio stays open with churros, meat and wine.
The afternoon is for board games, parcheesi among them. At nine the music takes over, with Grupo Calle3.
