Fiestas of San Miguel and the Virgen del Carmen 2026 in Castillo del Romeral
Castillo del Romeral, the only fishing village in San Bartolomé de Tirajana, holds its fiestas of San Miguel and the Virgen del Carmen from 24 September to 5 October. Twelve days with an opening address by the village fishermen, the Pasacalle del Agua, the Romería-Ofrenda, concerts by Tonny Tun Tun and Pepe Benavente, and a big day on Saturday 3 October with the fish barbecue, the boat procession and the arrival of the Virgin.
Castillo del Romeral, the only fishing village in the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, holds its fiestas in honour of San Miguel and the Virgen del Carmen from 24 September to 5 October. This year's programme is built around the village's seafaring identity and the memory of the generations who lived from the sea. Organised by San Bartolomé de Tirajana town council.
Thursday 24 September. 20:30, the opening address is given by the village's own fishermen, dedicated to the fishing families and to the roots of Castillo del Romeral.
Friday 25 September. 17:30, the Pasacalle del Agua street parade with the Los Castillerinhos drum band and the Banda Aborigen; DJ Yediel plays in the square when the parade ends. 23:00, Grupo Mallombe. 01:00, Orquesta La Tremenda.
Saturday 26 September. 18:30, the Romería-Ofrenda pilgrimage through the streets. 21:00, a night of parranda music with Kal y Canto. 23:30, Tonny Tun Tun in concert. 01:00, Leyenda Joven. 03:00, Grupo Acuarela.
Sunday 27 September. 10:00, mini sports on Avenida de Las Salinas. 11:00, a day for everyone, with games, bouncy castles, water activities and a foam party. 21:00, the queen's gala.
Monday 28 September. 17:00, an introduction to padel, and 18:00, a padel americano, both at the Vicente del Bosque sports centre. 21:00, Escala en Hi-Fi, with neighbours and children of the village on stage.
Tuesday 29 September. 21:00, the gala for the youth and adult queens, with a performance by Ángel M.
Wednesday 30 September, day of the elders. 17:00, basketball cage. 18:00, musical bingo. 19:00, a three-way tournament between single, married and separated players on the Las Salinas court. 20:00, lunch for the elders, with a tribute to the village's women who have turned a hundred. 20:30, Mariachi Peleón. 21:00, Pepe Benavente.
Thursday 1 October, day of the village. 17:00, football cage on Avenida de Las Salinas. 17:30, a zanga card tournament. 18:00, the three-way tournament. 21:00, a play. 22:00, performances by the villagers themselves.
Friday 2 October. 16:30, bouncy castles and activities for children. 21:00, a soloists' meeting with Parranda del Cura and Las Descamisadas. 23:00, Ráfagas de Cumbias. 00:30, Pedro Afonso. 02:00, DJ Airam Vega.
Saturday 3 October. This is the big day. 14:30, the fish barbecue. 15:00, the boat procession with La Banda Isleña. 19:00, the arrival of the Virgin. The dance starts at 23:00 with La Factoría del Swing, fireworks at 00:00, then Star Music at 01:00 and Grupo Una Más at 03:00. At 05:00 the Banda Aborigen plays the diana floreada, and at 06:00 comes the traditional hot chocolate.
Sunday 4 October. 12:00, mass and procession accompanied by La Banda Isleña. In the afternoon, the daytime verbena: 15:00 Johan Partymax, 16:00 La Nueva Cantera, 18:00 Armonía Show and 20:30 Calle Obispo.
