Three days of neighbourhood festivities in Lomo la Viuda, Los Realejos, with a big-heads parade, paella, a verbena and a procession.
From 21 to 23 August, the Lomo la Viuda neighbourhood in Los Realejos holds its festivities under the motto «Tradición, Fe, Unión».
Friday 21: 12pm sound system arrives; 4pm opening parade with big-heads; 5pm children's festival; 6.30pm pork and tomato rolls with soft drinks; 10pm grand verbena with Grupo LD.
Saturday 22: 10am envite card championship; 2pm paella for everyone; 6pm bingo with a surprise prize; 10pm dance with Teide Swing.
Sunday 23: 10am children's day, with bouncy castles and face painting; 12pm gymkhana; 2pm potato, corn and rib stew; 6pm variety show with folk performances and singers from the neighbourhood; 8pm procession along the traditional route, with the Ave María sung by Maite Quintero, followed by a young people's night with DJ Darío García.
