Fiestas de la Virgen del Carmen - El Pris 2026verified
The fishing village honours the Virgen del Carmen with a boat pilgrimage, paella and fireworks.
El Pris holds its fiestas in honour of the Virgen del Carmen from 27 to 31 August. Thursday the 27th opens with Los Esponjas del Norte (19:30), DJ R.Dorta (21:00) and Renzzo El Selector (22:30). Friday the 28th brings the children's gala at 18:00 with a parade of the neighbourhood's children, then Swing Latinos at 22:00 and DJ July at 00:00. Saturday the 29th has bouncy castles at 10:00 and again at 15:30, this time with a foam party; the Sirenita ponte la aleta activity at 19:00, the Tropin verbena at 22:00 and DJ Yera Waque at 00:00. Sunday the 30th is the main day: boat pilgrimage at 11:00, procession of the Virgin from her chapel to La Laja at 12:00, a large paella for participants at 14:00, mass at 18:30 and the Virgin's embarkation, Ave María sung by Goyo Tavío, a concert by the Banda Santa Cecilia, a procession through the fishing village and a major fireworks display at 22:00 by the Hermanos Tostes, followed by Pepe Benavente. Monday the 31st closes with the children's party at 16:00, with bouncy castles and a foam party, and hot chocolate for the children at 19:00.
