Igueste de Candelaria, the upland village in the municipality of Candelaria, holds its patron-saint festivities in honour of the Holy Trinity from 31 July to 9 August 2026. Around ten days of events combining the religious and the popular.
The most distinctive element is the Danza de Igueste, a traditional dance group belonging to the village itself, which accompanies the Holy Trinity procession alongside the local band. The programme usually also includes the opening address, the "Antonio Máximo Coello" gymkhana, traditional games, musical performances and verbenas in the Plaza de La Libertad.
