Fiesta Parrandera and Papagüevos dance by the Mercado del Puerto, Fiestas de La Navalverified
On Saturday 17 October 2026 at 21:30, the streets Tenerife, Sagasta and Los Gofiones, next to the Mercado del Puerto in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, host the Fiesta Parrandera and the Baile de Papagüevos of the Fiestas de La Naval. At 23:00 the night continues with the Verbena Parrandera in the Plaza de Nuestra Señora de La Luz, La Isleta. The fiestas, in honour of Nuestra Señora La Virgen de La Luz, run from 2 to 18 October.
The Fiesta Parrandera and the Baile de Papagüevos take the celebration to the streets around the Mercado del Puerto: Tenerife, Sagasta and Los Gofiones. It is part of the Saturday night of the Antiguas y Tradicionales Fiestas de La Naval, held in honour of Nuestra Señora La Virgen de La Luz and organised by the Asociación La Luz de La Naval and the city council of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
