Roque Prieto holds the Fiesta de la Madrina, with the choosing of the madrina, mass and a procession by the sea.
Roque Prieto is a coastal hamlet north of the old town of Guía, known for its natural pools. The Fiesta de la Madrina is held there, with the choosing of the madrina at 12:00 and the celebration of the Eucharist at 13:00, followed by a procession.
It is the last block of the August programme and has a different character from the old town: smaller, more of a neighbours' affair, and with the sea in front.
