Seventh edition of the Taganana Festival, with Aníbal & Lajalada, Lornoar & Michelle Mbarga from Cameroon and Sara Socas.
The Taganana Festival reaches its seventh edition with its widest international line-up so far, in the Plaza de Nuestra Señora de las Nieves, inside the Anaga massif, a Biosphere Reserve.
At 19:30 Aníbal & Lajalada perform, joining Canarian tradition with contemporary sounds. At 20:30 Lornoar & Michelle Mbarga arrive from Cameroon with Té Mô Dam, part of the African strand the festival has kept for four years. At 22:30 Sara Socas closes, from Tegueste, one of the most international voices in the Canaries. Dj Carballeira plays at 20:30, 22:00 and 00:00.
The setting is part of the bill: ravines, rock formations and the oldest laurel forests in Tenerife. The Anaga road is narrow and winding, so leave in good time.
