Tunas festival of the Guía de Isora fiestas, with student groups from La Laguna University
On Monday 14 September at 20:30 the Tunas festival takes place, with performances by several student groups from the University of La Laguna. The tuna is a centuries-old university tradition: groups in cloaks with lutes and bandurrias who sing through the streets. After the festival there is a procession through the village streets alongside the queen candidates, so the event does not stay on a fixed stage.
