Festival Boreal 2026verified

The Festival Boreal reaches its 19th edition in Los Silos, in the Isla Baja district in the north of Tenerife. The organisers define it as a diverse, intergenerational cultural initiative with a music line-up unlike any other in the Canaries. Among the confirmed artists is Daddy G, founding member of Massive Attack, who makes his Canarian debut with a DJ set described as a journey without labels across reggae, dub, breakbeat, hip hop, house and electronica. The festival runs from 16 to 20 September 2026; the ticketed concerts on the Escenario Los Silos are concentrated on Friday the 18th and Saturday the 19th, with doors opening at 17:00. The site is the open parking ground in the historic centre of the town, 38470 Los Silos, Santa Cruz de Tenerife. There is a specific policy for minors: under-16s must be accompanied by a parent or an authorised guardian, and 16 and 17 year olds have to present a signed minor authorisation form. The concert programme published by the organisers spreads the shows across three stages. On Friday the 18th, on the Escenario Los Silos, Aïta Mon Amour (Morocco) play at 18:00, Jable (Canary Islands) at 19:30, Hempress Sativa (Jamaica) at 21:00 and BCUC (South Africa) at 22:30; into the small hours of Saturday the 19th come El Veneno Crew at 00:00 and DJ The Queen of Bass at 01:00, with DJ Carla Carela in support. On the Escenario Canarias the bill runs Pleito at 17:00, Renata Flores (Peru) at 18:30, Rubio (Chile) at 20:30 and The Neighborhood Kids (United States) at 22:00. The Escenario DJ opens with DJ Andee at 20:00. The Escenario Los Silos is the ticketed stage; the Escenario Canarias and the Escenario DJ are free to attend.
