Painting exhibition on the life of Fray Juan de Jesúsverified
On Thursday 17 September at 20:00 the Sociedad Centro Icodense opens the painting exhibition on the life of Fray Juan de Jesús, el Siervo de Dios, with works by D. Domingo Martínez de la Peña González. The opening pays tribute to the painter and includes an address by Dr. Juan Sebastián López García, Insular Director of Historical Heritage of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria. The exhibition stays open until 30 September.
The Sociedad Centro Icodense hosts the opening of the painting exhibition on the life of Fray Juan de Jesús, el Siervo de Dios, on Thursday 17 September at 20:00. The works are by D. Domingo Martínez de la Peña González, and the event pays a warm tribute to the painter with an address by Dr. Juan Sebastián López García, Insular Director of Historical Heritage at the Consejería de Presidencia y Movilidad Sostenible of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria.
The exhibition remains open until 30 September at the premises of the Sociedad Centro Icodense, on calle San Sebastián 8. It is organised by the Asociación Cultural de Amigos de Fray Juan de Jesús, with the collaboration of the town council of Icod de los Vinos and of the Sociedad Centro Icodense itself. Anyone who misses the opening at 20:00 still has almost two weeks to see the paintings.
