From 18 September to 13 October 2026 Agüimes holds its Fiestas del Rosario, with a programme of pilgrimages, concerts, religious ceremonies and farming traditions spread across the old town.
At 19:00 on Wednesday 7 October the Mass is led by Inocencio Pablo García Ramírez, priest of the San José Obrero parish in Cruce de Arinaga, and during it a tribute is paid to Juana María Suárez Vega for her work in the archive on behalf of immigrants.
