ETB Gran Canaria Pro 2026: the European bodyboard tour at La Cícer (Las Canteras)verified

It is an official event of the European Bodyboard Tour, run under the European Surfing Federation, with riders from several countries competing in the Men, Women, Junior and Dropknee categories.
The date is a round one: in 1986, forty years ago, La Cícer hosted the first bodyboard contest ever held in Spain, and since then this part of Las Canteras has been closely tied to the development of local bodyboarders. Its waves break over a sandy bottom and allow manoeuvres, turns and tubes, which makes it a regular training spot. The organisers have not published daily times: in a wave contest the schedule depends on sea conditions. La Cícer lies right next to the Las Canteras promenade.
