“Mi vida toda”, a folk show by A.F.C. Guaracheverified
In “Mi vida toda” (My whole life), the Guarache folk and cultural association traces the folklore of each stage of life. A male character tells, through sung verses, of his childhood, youth, loves and work until maturity, recalling moments in the life of a Canarian in the late 19th century. A children’s dance group, an adult group and a group performing Latin pieces take part. Suitable for all ages.
In this show a male character, through sung verses (“Un arrorró cuando niño, de joven una saltona, luego unas folías tristes, ahí tienes mi vida toda”: a lullaby as a child, a saltona when young, then some sad folías, there you have my whole life), takes the audience through different stages of his life, from childhood to maturity, including his loves and his work. With “Mi vida toda”, A.F.C. Guarache traces the folklore of each stage of life, recalling, like an old photograph, key moments in the life of a Canarian in the late 19th century.
Three dance groups take part: a children’s group performing the dances of childhood, an adult group for the other stages of life, and a group performing Latin pieces. The show is suitable for all ages. The performance is on Friday 16 October 2026 from 20:30 to 21:30 at Auditorio Capitol in Tacoronte.
