Valsequillo Honours and Distinctions ceremony 2026verified

The town council of Valsequillo de Gran Canaria holds its institutional Honours and Distinctions ceremony for 2026 on Thursday 17 September at 20:30 at the Teatro Cronista Oficial Jacinto Suárez Martel. The ceremony recognises the careers, the commitment and the contribution of people who have left a significant mark on the history and the development of the municipality.

This year distinctions are awarded in the categories of Favourite Sons and Daughters, Favourite Sons and Daughters posthumously, Adopted Sons and Adopted Sons and Daughters posthumously. It is an official ceremony within the programme of the Fiestas y Feria de San Miguel Arcángel 2026 and takes place indoors, limited by the capacity of the theatre.
