Zonal folk meeting with A.F. Los Lomitos de Correaverified
The Plaza Tifariti in Valsequillo de Gran Canaria hosts the zonal folk meeting on Friday 2 October at 20:30. On stage, alongside A.F. Los Lomitos de Correa, invited folk groups come together to share the rich musical heritage of the islands and to take the audience on a journey through songs, dances and customs of their own. The Plaza Tifariti is the main open air stage of the festive programme and lies right in the centre of Valsequillo.

The municipal programme invites the audience to enjoy Canary roots through the work of those who keep folklore alive, at one of the last dates on the festive calendar. It is the second event of Friday, after the solemn return of San Miguel to his altar in the church at 19:00. It is held outdoors in the heart of the village and the programme publishes no admission price.
