Mar Mar Teatro brings a family show to the Auditorio Insular de Fuerteventura in Puerto del Rosario. Elara has lost her grandmother, so she goes looking for her where nobody else would: among planets, comets and galaxies. That is the starting point of this piece by Mar Mar Teatro, a company shortlisted for the MAX Awards 2024 with Un pez en el corazón in the category of best show for children, young people and families. The production carries a clear educational intent and gives young audiences a poetic language for talking about death.
The show takes place at the Auditorio Insular de Fuerteventura on Calle Ramiro de Maeztu in Puerto del Rosario, starting at 17:00 and lasting around 90 minutes, with tickets from 3 €. The tour continues the following day at the Auditorio de Antigua, so families in the middle of the island get a second chance to catch it.
