On Thursday 1 October, from 17:30 to 19:00, El Rincón de Alonsín, the municipal library's activity in Villa de Mazo, moves out to the Plaza Don Esteban Pérez García in El Hoyo de Mazo, as part of the Nuestra Señora de los Dolores festivities. A playful literary session for children and families on the traditions of the Borrachito Fogatero and its characters.
On Thursday 1 October 2026, from 17:30 to 19:00, El Rincón de Alonsín returns, this time outside the library: the Alonso Pérez Díaz municipal library moves out to the Plaza Don Esteban Pérez García in El Hoyo de Mazo, as part of the Nuestra Señora de los Dolores festivities. It is a playful literary session to explore, in a fun and participatory way, the traditions behind the festive imagery of the Borrachito Fogatero and its world.
The session is designed for children and families, who will discover curiosities about the Borrachito Fogatero and the other characters of the fiesta. It is an invitation to take part, listen, remember and enjoy together a culture passed down from generation to generation.
