El pan nuestroverified
It is 1977 and the country is preparing for its first democratic general election. A group of young women, pleased with the political change, knock on the door of old Anselmo, known as «El falange», who is confined to his room by illness, and the knocking brings back memories that have never left him. El pan nuestro comes to the Teatro Municipal Juan Ramón Jiménez in Telde; tickets cost 4 € and the takings go to Chapotea, Telde's association for autistic children.
It is 1977 and the country is getting ready for its first democratic general election. A group of young women, happy about the political change, knock on the door of old Anselmo, known as «El falange». The knocking reopens memories of a past that torments him: confined to his room by illness, he goes back over what has never left him and makes a decision, perhaps the most important of his life. The money from ticket sales is donated to Chapotea, the association for autistic children in Telde.
The session, billed under cinema, takes place at the Teatro Municipal Juan Ramón Jiménez on Calle Poeta Pablo Neruda in Telde. Seating is numbered, with stalls or amphitheatre tickets at 4 €. Doors open 30 minutes before the start, latecomers are not admitted once it has begun, and babies need a ticket too; pushchairs, food and drink are not allowed inside.
