El invencible verano de Liliana is a stage production starring Cecila Suárez. Liliana Rivera Garza was killed by her ex-boyfriend on 16 July 1990; the killer fled and has never been caught. Thirty years later her sister, the writer Cristina Rivera Garza, found the strength to go through the files and documents Liliana left behind and, after a long writing process, restored her memory in 2021 in El invencible verano de Liliana.
The work premiered at the Festival de Otoño in Madrid, at the Centro de Cultura Contemporánea Conde Duque. It runs for 100 minutes and is recommended for ages 16 and over; once the show has started, entry to the hall is not possible. Tickets cost €15. The performance is on Friday 16 October 2026 at 20:30 at the Teatro Víctor Jara in Vecindario, Santa Lucía de Tirajana (Gran Canaria).
