Three women who met at university, a journalist, a lawyer and a sexologist, gather to celebrate the divorce of the last one among them. What starts as a party turns into a review of four decades: from the nineteen seventies and eighties, when divorce meant scandal or tragedy, to the present day, when it is treated almost as a mental health formality. The staging mixes theatrical and cinematic language to move through time, and takes its title from the well known lecture Mercedes Pinto delivered in 1923 at the Universidad Central in Madrid, a text that collided head on with the morality of its time.
