World Mental Health Day 2026 – “Haz match con tu salud mental” gatheringverified
The Asociación Salud Mental La Palma marks World Mental Health Day 2026 with an open gathering at the Real Sociedad de Instrucción y Recreo Aridane in Los Llanos de Aridane, under the motto “Haz match con tu salud mental”. The programme includes an opening, an expert panel with five participants, a decimario by Nieves Clemente with the Escuela Insular de Música, and an awards presentation. Free entry.
The Asociación Salud Mental La Palma, now marking 28 years of work, holds its World Mental Health Day 2026 commemoration under the motto “Haz match con tu salud mental”, an invitation to connect with emotional wellbeing, listen to one's feelings, ask for help when needed and build relationships and surroundings that support good mental health. The gathering brings together professionals, institutional representatives, people with lived experience and members of the public.
The programme opens at 18:00 with the official inauguration. At 18:40 comes the expert panel “Miradas que suman: salud mental desde la comunidad”, with five participants from psychiatry, psychology, education, pedagogy and first-person experience. At 20:30 Nieves Clemente performs a decimario accompanied by the Escuela Insular de Música, and at 21:30 there is a toast and the presentation of the World Mental Health Day 2026 awards. The event takes place at the Real Sociedad de Instrucción y Recreo Aridane in Los Llanos de Aridane, with free entry. Saturday 10 October 2026, at 18:00.
