A day for the elders at the winery, inside a fiesta that only comes round every five years.
On Saturday 12 September, from 12:00 to 18:00, the Bodega Cumbres de Abona hosts the Día del Mayor within the Fiestas Lustrales in honour of Nuestra Señora de Abona. The municipal programme announces an afternoon with lunch, a bolero concert, a photo booth and surprises. The lustrales are held only once every five years, and the 2026 edition runs from 13 August to 25 September. The same Saturday continues with the Traditional Canarian Percussion Festival at 18:30 on calle Benítez de Lugo, and a concert by the Banda de Música Abona de Arico at 21:00 in the church of San Juan Bautista.
