Immaculate Conception day in Masca: mass, procession and paella for all
On Sunday 4 October at 13:30, Masca (Buenavista del Norte) celebrates the main day of its Immaculate Conception festivities: a mass sung by the A.F. Baracán and, afterwards, a procession along the traditional route. When it reaches the square, there is paella for everyone who comes. Masca is one of the best-known hamlets in the Teno massif, in north-west Tenerife.
On Sunday 4 October 2026 at 13:30, Masca holds a mass sung by the Agrupación Folclórica Baracán; when it ends, the procession sets off along its usual route.
When the procession arrives back in the square, the festival committee serves paella to everyone present. It is part of the festivities in honour of the Immaculate Conception in Masca on 3 and 4 October 2026, organised by the Masca festival committee with the support of Buenavista del Norte town council.
