The float parade runs through Guía on the theme The History of the Olympic Games, one of the most crowded nights of the festival.
The traditional float parade is one of the events that draws the biggest crowds in the whole programme. It leaves from the front of the church at 22:00 and runs through the streets of the old town with floats built by local groups. This year's theme is The History of the Olympic Games.
If you are coming from outside, arrive early: the streets of the old town are narrow and fill up quickly. At 23:00 the night continues in the Plaza Grande with the concert by Aduén Amaya.
