Unveiling of the plaque marking 65 years of the church tower clock
At 19:30 on Sunday 11 October a plaque is unveiled marking 65 years of the clock on the church tower in Barranco Hondo. It is a short, very local act, held right before the procession, and one of the few in the programme that does name its location. Half an hour later the procession of the Virgen de los Dolores sets off, bringing the fiestas to a close.
Before the procession sets off, the programme sets aside half an hour for an act that belongs entirely to the neighbourhood. At 19:30 on Sunday 11 October a commemorative plaque is unveiled marking 65 years of the clock on the tower of the Barranco Hondo church.
This is the only point in the programme where the location is written down, because the act itself names it: the church tower. For a visitor it is a useful reference point before the procession at 20:00.
