ConCierto Paliqueo opens a new season with NIA and David Afonso, built around the idea of “La atracción” (attraction): people, melodies, stages or decisions that appear at just the right moment and change the course of a life. Through their music, the two artists tell what led them to it and which decisions were key to getting where they are today. It is the first part of a trilogy of invisible forces that accompany every artistic career: attraction, inertia and gravity.
NIA, born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, won Operación Triunfo 2020, played Nala in El Rey León in Spain and in 2025 received the Gaviota de Plata at the Viña del Mar International Festival. David Afonso, an electrician by trade, was part of the orchestra La Sabrosa from 2019 to 2025 and took part in Benidorm Fest in 2025; this year he released the merengue Haré que te quedes. The show runs 90 minutes and is recommended for ages 12 and up. Tickets cost €10. The concert is on Sunday 25 October 2026 at 19:00.
