Los Sabandeños, the best known and longest-running Canarian folk group, bring the August fiestas to a close with a concert at the venue next to the town hall.
Los Sabandeños close the August fiestas programme with a concert at the venue next to Candelaria town hall. Founded in La Laguna in 1966, the group is one of the emblems of Canarian music.
On the same Sunday the basilica holds the concelebrated mass and the procession of the Virgin along Calle Obispo Pérez Cáceres and Calle Los Príncipes at 12:00, and the thanksgiving mass for the fiestas at 18:00. Free entry.
