On Sunday 4 October 2026 at 19:00, CLEOrquesta, the festival's own orchestra, closes this year's edition at the Paraninfo of the University of La Laguna. It is conducted by Cuban conductor Yudania Gómez Heredia, who comes straight from leading the Heritage Orchestra on Rosalía's LUX tour, with Venezuelan violinist Alexis Cárdenas and Canarian soloists Verónica Cagigao on marimba and Ernesto Alemán on piano.
The programme, made up entirely of Canarian and Latin American repertoire, brings together works by Carlos Fariñas and Bernardino Valle, among others, and two premieres: the world premiere of «La danza del V lobo» by Jenny Peña, commissioned by the festival, and the first performance of the version for string orchestra and percussion of Ileana Pérez Velázquez's Violin Concerto. RNE's Radio Clásica will record the whole concert. Entry is free until the hall is full.
It is part of the Classical Laguna Experience (CLE) festival, whose 7th edition runs from 22 September to 4 October 2026 on La Gomera, Gran Canaria and Tenerife and is devoted to Canarian and Latin American classical music. Cuba is this year's guest country.
