Eleventh edition of the "A orillas del mar" concert, this year marking 50 years of the Las Candelas town band, with the internationally known violinist Ara Malikian as guest. Musical direction by Mauro Fariña Alonso.
The open-air venue next to the town hall hosts the 11th "A orillas del mar" concert, one of the most anticipated musical events of the August fiestas. The 2026 edition is a special one: it celebrates 50 years of the Las Candelas town band.
The internationally known violinist Ara Malikian appears as a guest. Musical direction is by Mauro Fariña Alonso, with Víctor Brito presenting. Throughout the fiestas an open-air exhibition, "50 años de la Banda de música Las Candelas", can also be seen outside the Cine Viejo. Free entry.
