Chipupeque y Día del Pueblo: día de la infancia, silbo gomero y folclore en Chipudeverified
The fiestas' children's day, Chipupeque, fills the whole day with inflatables, an assault course, workshops, crafts and a foam party. In the afternoon comes the Día del Pueblo, with a Gomeran whistling display and a beginners' workshop in the island's folk music, open to anyone who wants a go.
Thursday the 13th has two halves in Chipude.
Chipupeque, children's day. From 10:00 to 17:00: bouncy castles, a children's assault course, workshops, crafts, a foam party and costumed characters. From 12:00 to 12:45, Cuentos en diversidad with the PLUMA association alongside Xarliem. From 15:00 to 15:45, children's host and entertainer Arian. From 16:00 to 16:45, Payaso Floon.
Día del Pueblo. From 17:00 to 17:30, a display of silbo gomero, the island's whistled language. From 17:40 to 18:30, a beginners' workshop in Gomeran folk music. From 18:30 to 20:30, the seventh Trail de las Fiestas de Chipude, listed separately.
Evening, hosted by Patricia Clemente and Miguel Ángel Reyes. From 20:40 to 21:40, Mariachi Aluce. From 21:50 to 22:00, a live performance of «Pa' Chipude», the fiestas' anthem, written by Jose Oramas and sung by David Mesa and Elías García. From 22:00 to 00:00, the documentary «Chipude: Raíces que laten». And from 00:00, Noche Jóven with Orquesta Jóven Sensación and Fernandito Martín 'El Ferna'.
