Band gathering and Parranda Bentahod at the La Rambla fiestas, San Juan de la Ramblaverified
On Sunday 11 October 2026 the municipality’s bands arrive in La Rambla at 18:30, and at 19:00 the band gathering begins with the Asociación Artística Alcaraván from San Juan and the Agrupación Musical XIX de Marzo from San José, presented by Iván García Dorta. At 21:30 the Parranda Bentahod takes the stage, a group founded in 2000 whose repertoire ranges from isas and folías to son cubano and cumbia.
The Fiestas de La Rambla 2026, in honour of Nuestra Señora del Rosario, give Sunday evening over to music. The band gathering brings together the Asociación Artística Alcaraván from San Juan and the Agrupación Musical XIX de Marzo from San José, presented by Iván García Dorta and funded by the culture department of San Juan de la Rambla town council. Afterwards the Parranda Bentahod performs, a group founded in 2000 by local music enthusiasts, whose repertoire runs from traditional Canarian folk (isas, folías, malagueñas) to popular music from other parts of the world, such as son cubano, rumba, cumbia and zamba.
On Sunday 11 October 2026 the municipality’s bands arrive in the neighbourhood at 18:30, the gathering starts at 19:00 and the Parranda Bentahod is scheduled for 21:30.
