The Carrera de Cintas runs along Médico Estévez and Marqués del Muni on the afternoon of the day of the Virgin, a tradition halfway between a game and a parade.
The Carrera de Cintas is a traditional Canarian game: participants pass by on vehicles and have to spear, with a pointed stick, the ribbons hanging from a rope stretched across the street.
It takes place at 18:00 on Médico Estévez and Marqués del Muni. An hour later, on the same streets, the Batalla de Flores begins.
