La Belle École is the company of Samuel Penhastro and Hugo Miró, both based in the Canary Islands and specialised in clowning and physical comedy, with experience in circuses, theatres and festivals. Caricatos is an improvised duel between two endearing characters who confront each other through gesture alone, in a light, subtle show built on direct contact with the audience.
Inspired by the classics of silent film, from Buster Keaton to Bill Irwin, it reworks that legacy through contemporary clowning, with absurd situations, object manipulation, pantomime and circus techniques. It runs 50 minutes and is suitable for all ages. The show takes place in Plaza del Príncipe, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as part of FIC 2026, on Saturday 10 October 2026 at 12:00.
