A 5.7 km trail race in La Bombilla, with adult, children's and adapted categories, held within the neighbourhood fiestas.
The Bombillazo Trail is a short race, 5.7 km, run on the Sunday morning within the La Bombilla fiestas. There are three categories: adult, children's and adapted, so it is not an event aimed only at regular runners.
The start is at 10:00 and the trophy ceremony follows immediately. It is organised by Xelavi Eventos.
The route runs along the west coast of La Palma, an area profoundly changed by the 2021 eruption; running here also means seeing at close range how the landscape has been remaking itself.
The same day, at 13:00, there is a large communal paella, and in the afternoon the Virgen del Carmen goes out to sea.
