Batalla Naval on Calle Agustín Millares Sall, fireworks re-enactment of the ship and the castleverified
On the night of Saturday 10 October 2026, the main day of the Fiestas de La Naval, Calle Agustín Millares Sall in La Isleta hosts the Batalla Naval at 23:00: a re-enactment of the battle between the ship and the castle, staged as a fireworks show by Pirotecnia El Pilar de Benjamín Dávila. At 23:30 the Virgin’s Day concert and verbena, an open-air dance, follows in Plaza de Nuestra Señora de La Luz.
The Batalla Naval is the late-evening event on the main day of the Antiguas y Tradicionales Fiestas de La Naval, held in honour of Nuestra Señora La Virgen de La Luz. The programme describes it as a re-enactment of the battle between the ship and the castle, turned into a fireworks show by Pirotecnia El Pilar de Benjamín Dávila. The festivities, organised by the Asociación La Luz de La Naval and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria city council, run from 2 to 18 October 2026.
