It is part of the Fiestas de San Francisco de Asís 2026 in Almatriche Alto, which this year mark the 50th anniversary of the neighbourhood's patron saint festivities. They are organised by the Comisión de Fiestas de Almatriche Alto with the collaboration of the Ayuntamiento de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and the Comisión reserves the right to change any activity during the fiestas.
