“Arona” is a stage piece by Compañía Pieles that springs from the deep heartbeat of the Canary Islands and presents itself as a contemporary language with roots. In three parts, El Hogar, La Tierra and La Mar (home, land and sea), it evokes essential spaces and trades of island life over 75 minutes. It is performed at the Auditorio Infanta Leonor in Los Cristianos on Wednesday 7 October 2026 at 20:30; access is only for those over five.

“Arona” is a scenic and sensory work by Compañía Pieles: a piece born from the deep heartbeat of the Canary Islands that today presents itself as a contemporary language with roots. It is structured in three parts, El Hogar, La Tierra and La Mar (home, land and sea), which stand for some of the essential spaces and trades of life on the islands. Arona Cultura’s programme describes it as a way of creating, inhabiting and caring for the Canaries.
