“Ángaro” by Pieles with the A.M.C. Ernesto Beteta at the Recinto Festero of Santa Úrsulaverified
The Pieles company brings “Ángaro” to the Recinto Festero in Santa Úrsula, on Avenida Las Palmeras, joined by the town’s Asociación Musical Cultural Ernesto Beteta. Produced by Laboratorio Escénico, it combines music, spoken word and images, linking pre-Hispanic folklore and Canarian popular music with musical traditions from cultures around the world. “Ángaro” is a stage production by Laboratorio Escénico that combines music, spoken word and images in an interdisciplinary show inspired by cultural and musical roots. It offers a sensory journey linking pre-Hispanic folklore and the popular music of the Canary Islands with musical expressions from different cultures around the world, in a dialogue between tradition and the contemporary. In Santa Úrsula the Pieles company performs together with the town’s own Asociación Musical Cultural Ernesto Beteta. Pieles is a stage and music project born in the Canary Islands that treats roots culture as living material in constant transformation.
The performance takes place on Friday 23 October 2026 at 20:00 at the Recinto Festero in Santa Úrsula, on Avenida Las Palmeras. The company performs “Ángaro” again on Sunday 25 October at 21:00 in Buenavista del Norte.
