30th anniversary of the La Perdoma bread-and-chorizo tastingverified

On Sunday 4 October 2026 at 13:00, Calle El Rosario in La Perdoma hosts the 30th anniversary of the bread-and-chorizo tasting, a handout that, according to the programme itself, has become a hallmark of the fiestas and draws people from across the municipality and the valley. Supermercado de la Carne, the neighbourhood's winemakers and La Fast collaborate, and the 2026 Fiestas Committee organises. At 13:30, Concuerdas y Madera (instrumental duo), Parranda Mogarén and Parranda Pan con Chorizo perform.
It is part of the 2026 La Perdoma Fiestas, which this neighbourhood of La Orotava celebrates from 30 September to 11 October in honour of its patron saints, Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary and Saint Jerome, with more than 70 years of festive history. The La Perdoma Fiestas Committee prepares the programme with the support of the Town Council of La Orotava. On Sunday 11 October, from 18:00, a fireworks display is planned: the organisers ask residents to keep pets away from the noise and to warn people who are sensitive to it. The Committee reserves the right to change or cancel any event, and changes are announced on social media.
