19ª Feria de Artesanía de Gran Canaria Verano Sur

Markets

Ten days of craft stalls beside the Maspalomas lighthouse, from five in the afternoon until eleven at night. The fair brings together makers from across Gran Canaria and is now in its nineteenth edition, one of the island's longest-running summer events.

The 19th Gran Canaria Verano Sur Craft Fair runs from 7 to 16 August 2026 next to the Maspalomas lighthouse, open every day from 5 pm to 11 pm.

The fair shows the craft trades still practised on the island today, grouped by sector and speciality, and doubles as a direct-sale marketplace. Held in the south in the middle of August and running into the evening, it is one of the busiest craft fairs of the year for residents and visitors alike.

It is promoted by the Cabildo de Gran Canaria through FEDAC and organised by Infecar, Feria de Gran Canaria. The events programme and the list of participating makers are published on the official website.

Every evening there is a programme of live music at 8 pm: solo singers, violin, saxophone, a duo with band, and the parranda Los Apañaos, made up of members of Los Gofiones.

The trades represented include leatherwork, soap-making, toys, textiles and jewellery, alongside dozens of other traditional and contemporary specialities.
